The porcelain company Bucka & Nissen was originally a German company, which split into two branches in 1864, where Marcus Bucka stayed in Flensburg and Hans Nissen moved to Copenhagen, Denmark.
In addition to own production, they gained exclusive right to sell the famous English brandVilleroy & Boch in 1919.
Later, both sons and grandsons ran the company untill it closed in 1968.

Lovely porcelain confectionary bowl for sweets or decoration with wavy edges and square cut outs.
We do not have much information about this, other than it was bought for it's classic and fine appearance,from an old and now decomissioned Chinese owned rice mill.
It seems hand made and hand painted with a small, indistinct mark under the bottom.
