Richly decorated alms bowl in 0.800 silver from Thailand.
The bowl is 20 cm in diameter and 12 cm high with a weight of 331 grams.
Five stamps under the bowl shows hallmarks in Chinese and Thai as well as the number 70, which indicates Buddhist Era year 2470 = AD1927.

Christ Crucifix wood and porcelain, Italy 1800-1850

Antique and beautifully expressive crucifix from the first half of the 19th century.
Really nice in porcelain and wood with a total height of 54 cm.
Both the figure and the INRI plate above are made of biscuit porcelain, which is unglazed porcelain that has been burned twice.
The base has a through crack which comes naturally in old chunks of wood and it has no effect on the function and stability.

A few, very small peelings in the paint due to age as seen in the images.
Henning Malberg was an autodidact art painter with a predilection for naturalistic motifs.
He started painting in 1938 and since 1948 he has participated in several international exhibitions with many of the leading art publishers, to whom most of his works have been sold.
One of his major works was published in the International Directory of Arts 1971 and he has received diplomas from the Accademia Internationale Tomasso Campanella in Rome and The Temple of arts in the USA.

Af hans senere Arbejder skal nævnes hans spartlede Svejsiske, Italienske og Parisiske Motiver, der som Kunst betragtet er meget righoldige med en ren Streg og en særlig Forkærlighed for de rene Farver i Naturen. Han har siden 1948 deltaget i og afholdt adskillige Udstillinger i Ind- og Udlandet hos mange af e førende Kunstforlag, til hvilken de fleste af hans Arbejder er solgt."
