Nicely done in a dark brown smooth bronze casting with simplistic details.
Standing on a circular throne in the position of abhaya mudra, which stands for peace, removes fear and protects followers.
The figure is in good condition with patina and signs of normal age and use.
Fingertips of the raised, right hand are pointed slightly backwards.
Flame is intact. The burned soil underneath is sealed in the middle with a darker substance.

Mid Rattanakosin Buddha bronze figure, with a total height of 24,5 cm.
Seated on a 3-part throne with a royal banner.
The robes are richly decorated with, among other things, floral patterns.
The Buddha is sitting in the position of Bhumisparsha Mudra "touching the earth" which invites the earth to witness Shakyamuni, the first Buddha's revelation at Bodh Gaya.
Right arm hangs down over right knee. The hand with the palm turned inwards and the fingers extended downwards to the throne. The left hand is resting in the lap.
Covered with a thin layer of gold leaves, partly worn, giving a unique and originally aged patina.
The figure is in good condition with the crown intact, and with signs of use and wear.
Loop on the back to hold a parasol.
